Valentina Hot Sauce is a brand new sauce from a small company in the US, and it’s the first liquid hot sauce from this company. The sauce is sold in bottles and you can get it at most grocery stores and online. The sauce is made with red jalapeno peppers and has a little heat to it. Many people prefer Valentina Hot Sauce over other popular “daily driver” mass-market hot sauces because of its strong chili pepper taste and thicker consistency. It’s dubbed “The Mexican Hot Sauce.” So, does it live up to those lofty expectations in terms of flavor? Is the temperature evenly distributed? It’s a basic, yet delicious, spicy sauce that primarily relies on the natural taste of chili peppers. It’s also thicker, like other Mexican hot sauces, than the “dasher” Cajun hot sauces with which it often shares shelf space. As a result, you’ll get to experience the full taste and texture of the spices.

The taste of salt is present and well-balanced. The salt content of Valentina Hot Sauce is 64 mg per teaspoon, or 3% of your daily value. Granted, you may find yourself using many tablespoons in a single session, so this may quickly add up. This is particularly true when contrasted to a dasher sauce like Tabasco Original Red, which has a lower salt content and requires many dashes to equal a teaspoon.

This sauce is fantastic on hot dogs, eggs, and, of course, all Mexican meals. It’s also great on fish. I used it on ceviche, and it added just the perfect amount of heat without overpowering the dish.

If you like a dish that includes tomatoes, chicken, and potatoes, Valentina is the sauce I always go for. I also tried it with watermelon the other day (for the purpose of “science”), and it turned out to be delicious.

The spout is also ideal for Valentina Hot Sauce. Because it’s the size of a pencil eraser, you’ll be able to get a good lot out of it. That’s something you’ll desire. Valentina is the kind of sauce you’ll find yourself slathering on everything. In my home, things move at a breakneck pace.
