Instructions

  1. Combine the butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. To taste, season with salt and pepper. Remove from the equation.

  2. To assist the chops remain flat during frying, make a few tiny incisions in the lard around them. Salt & pepper to taste.

  3. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chops and heat for 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Keep the chops warm by removing them from the pan.

  5. Add the beans to the same skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the beans have a vivid color and are slightly cooked but still crunchy, about 10 minutes over medium-high heat.

  6. With a dab of garlic butter melting on top, serve the pork chops and beans together.
