Glass curry tomato

Paneer Tomato Curry is a delicious and culinary side dish. My husband, who loves table meals in all their forms, asked me to make a different table meal than what I always did. It doesn’t have to be creamy. So I decided not to add cream or nuts. By the way, at Alex’s request, I didn’t add spinach. After trying a new recipe, I ended up with the tomato paneer curry. Alex liked it very much. I knew it was a hit with him because he cleared the whole board. You all know he’s my videographer, so that’s the next recipe he wanted me to make. I have made many paneer recipes. They’re all starting to look alike. In this recipe, the paneer is first roasted and then simmered in tomatoes. It’s a surprisingly easy and quick recipe and very satisfying. I hope you will try this recipe and enjoy it! The recipe is suitable for 4 persons.

Ingredients

1x2x3x

  • Cut 3 cups of tomatoes into large pieces, I used 4 medium tomatoes.
  • The slice is 6 ounces thick, cut about 1/4 inch and 1-1/2 inches long.
  • ¼ Pepper, thinly sliced
  • Set aside 2 tablespoons of oil.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • One teaspoon Asafetida Hing.
  • 2 ginger chips, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric haldi
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ bath garam masala

Instructions

  • Heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat in a shallow skillet, arrange the breadcrumbs in it and brown on one side. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
  • Add the remaining oil in the same pan. Wait until the oil is moderately hot, add the cumin seeds, once the cumin seeds burst, add the asafetida and chopped ginger and fry for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the pepper and fry for about half a minute, add the coriander powder, turmeric and chilli and mix.
  • Then add the tomatoes, salt and sugar and cook while stirring for about 2-3 minutes, the tomatoes should be just tender, add the breadcrumbs and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The glass plate should be covered with herbs and the tomatoes should not be soft yet, you should be able to see the tomato pieces. Turn the stirring wheel of the Garam Masala and stir.
  • The tomato tea is very tasty and super easy, it goes well with plain rice, roti, paratha, dipped rice or naan.
