These aren’t just low carb pieces of bread as I had previously thought, they are, in fact, a delicious keto bread alternative, made with almond flour and added avocado. If you’re a fan of avocado in your keto dishes, you will love this recipe.
I made these Parmesan Croutons, because they are so delicious and easy to make. They are perfect as a side dish, or as an element in a creamy pasta or vegetable dish. And the best part is, these Parmesan Croutons are Keto friendly, so you can enjoy them without worrying about your weight loss goals.

Parmesan croutons on a keto diet
Do you have a strong desire for crunch? There’s no reason to leave out the croutons any more. These parmesan croutons are perfectly crunchy and delicious, and they provide a serious bite to any soup or salad… or eat them plain for a delicious keto snack!
Medium (10 + 50 m)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
In a mixing basin, combine the dry ingredients.
Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Add the boiling water, vinegar, and egg whites to the dry ingredients and beat for 30 seconds with a hand mixer. Don’t overmix the dough; it should have the consistency of Play-Doh.
With moistened hands, form 8 flat dough pieces. Remember that the pieces will expand to twice their size as they bake, so leave plenty of space between them.
For approximately 40 minutes, bake on the bottom rack of the oven. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Place both sides of the bread face up on a sheet pan and split lengthwise.
Spread the butter and parmesan cheese mixture on the split bread slices. Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (220°C) or, better yet, use a high broil setting. Return the bread pieces to the oven for another 5 minutes or until golden brown. To prevent burning the topping, keep an eye on it at all times.
As a snack, eat whole or cut into smaller pieces, as seen in the photo. Combine with your favorite salad for a delicious meal!
