I have been making challah bread for the past few years. It is the most requested bread in my house. I got the inspiration for this recipe from a friend. I would like to share my recipe with all of you.

There are many different types of bread available, and many different ways to make it. One of the most traditional Shabbos (or Sabbath) breads is challah, a braided bread that is traditionally served on Friday night during the holiday of Shabbos. Due to it’s shape and length, challah is a perfect fit for the bread plate it is on.

With an incredibly deep golden brown crust, a soft and chewy texture, and a beautiful braid pattern, challah is a surprisingly delicious bread with a surprisingly rich and slightly oily flavor. Challah is a traditional Jewish bread served on Shabbat and most Jewish holidays. Although challahs are often reserved for special occasions like this, you can always make them on a whim. Like brioche, this enriched bread has a delicious flavor that goes well with many dishes. Of course, making challah takes a little patience (as with any good homemade bread), but the result is worth it!

How to make the best bread challenge

Making the best bread recipe is easier than you think. First mix the yeast, sugar and water and let the mixture foam. Mix the flour and salt in the bowl, then add the yeast mixture, eggs, egg yolk and oil and mix on low until you have a dough. Knead the dough on medium-high speed for 10 minutes and shape it into a bowl on a work surface. Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel and let it rest for 2 hours.

Then divide the dough into 3 balls, let it rest for 5 minutes, then braid the turban and pin the end. Cover the bread with a damp towel and let it rest until it has doubled in size. Brush the turban with egg and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, then brush again with egg and bake for another 15 minutes. Let it cool for about 20 minutes before serving.

After baking, remove the turban from the oven and let it cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.

Almost any oil can be used to make challah, but many people prefer a neutral oil, such as vegetable oil, canola oil or sunflower oil. Olive oil gives challah its flavor, which is why some people prefer not to use it.

Although this recipe refers to a simple braid with three strands, there are many different ways to braid a turban, including 4, 6, or 8 strands, round braids, and more.
