Triple chocolate cake ingredients

For this triple chocolate cake recipe, you’ll need most of the ingredients you may already have in your home. For the sponge cake, take 4 eggs, divided into yolks and whites, sugar and butter instead of butter to preserve the moisture. Then add the milk, vanilla, whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar and cream of tartar to stabilize the egg whites.

For a simple two ingredient filling – dark chocolate ganache – all you need is milk chocolate and heavy cream. How to make a triple chocolate cake from scratch

In a glass bowl, mix the chopped dark chocolate and warm cream to make the chocolate ganache. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and set aside.

In another glass bowl, mix the white chocolate and heated cream for the white chocolate ganache.

To assemble the chocolate cake, place a layer of cake on a plate. Brush with milk and cover with chocolate ganache. Place the next layer of chocolate cake, spread on the milk and white chocolate ganache. Repeat with the rest of the filling and crust.

In a glass bowl, make whipped cream with the remaining heavy cream and an electric mixer. Spread the whipped cream over the chocolate cake, which is built up in three layers. When the cake is fully hardened, place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Melt the sugar, butter and milk chocolate in a small saucepan to make the chocolate icing. Pour the warm glaze over the cooled cake. Smooth it out, pressing chocolate pieces onto the sides of the cake to decorate it. Have fun!

Cut the cake into 4 layers.
  3. Dark chocolate ganache: Pour the warm cream over the chocolate. Stir the mixture. Whip up with a mixer.
  4. White chocolate ganache: Pour the warm cream over the white chocolate. At ease.
  5. Spread the dark and white chocolate ganache over the layers of sponge cake. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  6. Fill with whipped cream: Beat the whipping cream in a bowl until it forms peaks. Spread the cream over the cake. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  7. Put the cream and butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the chocolate and stir. Pour the ganache over the cooled cake. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
