These Peanut Butter Bars are an excellent no-bake dessert dish to keep on hand. Who doesn’t like peanut butter and chocolate? The taste is rich and fudgy, and the texture is smooth and creamy. A thick layer of sweet peanut butter is sandwiched between two thick layers of chocolate and peanut butter. If you like peanut butter cups, you’ll adore these chocolate peanut butter bars that don’t need baking. To prepare these, just combine the filling ingredients in a mixing bowl, add the chocolate topping, and chill! You don’t even need expensive ingredients to create it… just peanut butter, sugar, chocolate, and graham crackers! They’re simple to eat on the move, so serve them as a dessert or put them in lunch boxes.
Ingredients for Peanut Butter Bars
Smooth peanut butter – You’ll want to use smooth peanut butter since you want the foundation to be smooth and consistent. You may use crunchy peanut butter if you don’t have any smooth peanut butter, but the smooth type will give you the greatest results!
Powdered sugar is used to keep the peanut butter and graham crackers together. Powdered sugar (commonly known as confectioners’ sugar) is required, since granulated sugar will not work.
Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips for the chocolate chips. Use white chocolate chips if you want it to be particularly sweet.
Graham crackers – These graham crackers have been smashed to provide texture to the bars. Use a rolling pin or a food mixer to crush them. Other cookies or biscuits may also be used. Use Oreos for a richer chocolate taste.
Peanut Butter Bars: How to Make Them
To begin, smash the graham crackers until fine crumbs form. The powdered sugar, melted butter, and peanut butter are then combined with the crumbs. This mixture is squeezed into a brownie pan, then covered with melted chocolate and chilled until firm. Serve by slicing the cake into bars.
No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars Pro Tips
— If you don’t like graham crackers or can’t find them in the supermarket, substitute any other biscuit, such as Oreos or shortbread biscuits.
— For optimum results, use an 8-inch brownie pan.
– Don’t forget to use parchment paper to line your baking pan.
– In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second bursts, stirring in between.
– To prepare an oat-based baked version, combine 34 cup butter, 12 cup sugar, 2 big eggs, 12 cup creamy peanut butter, 2 12 teaspoons baking soda, 12 teaspoons salt, 12 cup all-purpose flour, and 2 cups oats in a mixing bowl. Bake for 17 minutes at 375°F, then add the chocolate topping.
– For the filling, you may use peanut butter icing.
– You can make these peanut butter bars ahead of time and freeze them.
– To make a keto-friendly version, combine 34 cup almond flour, 14 cup Swerve sweetener, 12 ounce butter, 12 cup peanut butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. 3 oz melted sugar-free chocolate and 2 tbsp butter for the chocolate topping
Peanut Butter Bars: How to Store Them
If kept in the fridge, these bars can last for up to a week in an airtight container. The bars may be frozen as well. Wrap them in plastic wrap and then aluminum foil again.
Combine crumbled graham crackers, butter, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
To thoroughly combine, use a mixer.
Mix in the peanut butter one more.
Fill a baking sheet with the mixture and cover with kitchen paper.
Add additional peanut butter and chocolate chips to the mix. Microwave until completely melted.
Refrigerate for an hour after pouring on top of the cookie mix.
To serve, cut into squares.
For a good, clean cut, use a big knife (non-serrated knife). Allow the bars to cool in the fridge for longer if they are too soft.
