The ketogenic diet (KD) is a low-carbohydrate, high fat diet that turns the body into a fat burning machine. In a nutshell, you eat fat to burn fat. In the KD, you restrict carbs to 20 grams a day and eat a deep fat based diet that consists of generous amounts of grass-fed meat, fat, eggs and healthy fats.

Note on sweetener:
I used a stevia powder mix called Truvia as the sweetener in this cake, but you can sweeten it to your own taste. For example, Collin made this and used two packets of Truvia to sweeten it.
3-Minute Cinnamon Keto Cake

Try making this delicious cinnamon keto cake in 3 minutes in the microwave! This is a very simple idea that can be made quickly and only requires a few simple ingredients.
For cutting the cake:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 Esslöffel Mandelmehl
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon stevia powder mixture (e.g. Truvia)
For the glaze:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon stevia powder mix (like Truvia)
For the cream cheese frosting:
- 1 ounce cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon stevia powder
Melt the butter in a small bowl, cup or skillet.
Mix the almond flour, egg, cinnamon, baking powder and stevia powder.
Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Remove it carefully, as it is still hot.
Run a knife along the edges of the cup and invert it onto a plate.
In a separate bowl, melt the butter for the glaze, add the cinnamon and stevia. Pour the icing over the cake in the cup.
Put the cream cheese in a small saucepan and melt it in the microwave for about 20 seconds, then add the stevia.
Spread the cream cheese on it!

What a lovely little cake in a cup.
It’s not too sweet like a real cinnamon roll, but very subtle and rich. I love the cream frosting and the cream cheese frosting! This is a great treat if you want something special!
